At Bashinski Fine Gems & Jewelry, Inc, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may be eligible to return your items for a refund or in-store credit. Please read through the following information carefully before attempting to return or exchange your product. If store policies are not followed, we may not be able to process your return or exchange.
Returning Your Purchase
You may return the item to us in-store or by mail at your own expense.
We recommend using registered mail and insuring your package for the full value of the merchandise. Bashinski is not responsible for lost, uninsured, or untracked returns. Please use the original outer box or a sturdy replacement box with appropriate packing materials to ensure the product arrives safely.

Return Conditions
Unless otherwise specified, purchases may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of the original purchase date, when accompanied by the original sales slip.Items must be:
- Unworn
- In original, undamaged condition
- Returned with all original packaging, including the gift box
- Accompanied by any applicable insurance or laboratory documentation
Non-returnable items include:
- Sale items
- Special orders
- Completed layaways
- Custom or modified pieces
- Personalized jewelry
- Precious metal bullion and coins
- Gift certificates (not redeemable for cash)
Receiving a Refund
Refunds will be processed to the original method of payment once the return is accepted. Gift recipients will receive in-store credit equal to the original purchase amount. Cash refunds are not provided in-store. Please allow 7–10 business days for returns to be processed once received.
Exchanges
We thoroughly inspect each item before shipment. If a product is found to be defective due to a manufacturing issue, it may be exchanged within 30 days of receipt. If the exact item is unavailable, you may opt for in-store credit of equal value.
Please note:
Custom or personalized items, gemstones, and diamonds are not eligible for exchange and are sold as-is. Damages caused by wear, misuse, or accidents are not covered.
Gift Returns
Gifts returned without a receipt may be exchanged or converted to in-store credit. Items must be in original packaging and show no signs of wear or use.
Order Cancellations and Amendments
Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours. Once submitted, orders cannot be modified. If a return is necessary, follow the return policy to send the product back within 15 days. If you made a mistake on a custom or personalized order, please contact us immediately.
Personalized Items

Custom and Special Order Items
Due to their unique nature, custom and special order items are non-returnable and non-refundable. This includes items that have been altered at your request, such as ring resizing or diamond upgrades.
